Open to creators in Vietnam and abroad
There are no restrictions on age, gender or nationality. Organizers and jurors may participate but are not eligible for prizes. Authors bear any costs related to sending original works.

Scope
National and international
01 · Categories
Three creative forms
A
Sketching
Free media, from A3 to A0. Up to three works per author across the Sketching and Painting group.
B
Painting
Watercolour, acrylic, oil or other media, from A3 to 80 × 100 cm, interpreting a heritage building.
C
Photography
Digital camera, film, smartphone or drone. One photograph or a series of up to 15 images for one building. Maximum one series per author.
02 · Originality
AI-generated work is not accepted
Entries must be original. Digital art is not accepted in Sketching and Painting. Photographs must represent actual conditions without adding or removing architectural elements or replacing skies. Panorama and HDR are allowed.
Sketching - Painting
Works must not have won another competition. No AI or digital art.
Photography
Works must not have won or been published elsewhere. Earlier photos must be less than 12 months old as of 17 August 2026.
Drone
The author is responsible for flight permissions in controlled areas.

Sketching - Painting
Table A now lists ten Sketching and ten Painting positions. Awarded authors receive certificates; works are exhibited and retained in the digital archive under the organizer notice.
C
Photography
Twenty works are selected for exhibition. Awards include 1 First, 2 Second, 3 Third and 5 Encouragement prizes. Exhibition remuneration is VND 200,000 per work.

Submission grants the organizers a 12-month permission to use credited images for the exhibition, event communications, project publications and digital archives. Authors remain responsible for copyright, image rights and relevant permissions.

Suggested buildings and plans
The list is not exhaustive. For another work, the author must provide the name, location and basis for attribution to Ngô Viết Thụ.
